From October 13 to 17, at the invitation of the International University "MITSO", Wen Xiaoyi, Member of the Standing Committee of CULR Party Committee and Vice President, led a delegation to MITSO for an exchange visit. The delegation included heads and faculty members from the Law School, School of Culture and Communication, School of Labor Economics, and the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation.


On the morning of October 15, the delegation visited MITSO's Chinese Language and Culture Center, and the Teaching and Practice Laboratory and the Criminal Investigation Laboratory of Modern Identification Technology. The two sides held consultations on cooperation in trade union cadre training, scientific research collaboration, and student-faculty exchanges. In his address, CULR vice president Wen Xiaoyi reviewed the history and achievements of friendly exchanges between the two universities. He noted that as sister universities, both sides look forward to further deepening and upgrading exchanges and cooperation in all respects. MITSO Chancellor Vladimir Mikhailovich stated his readiness to vigorously advance cooperation and exchanges at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as the development of dual-degree programs between the two universities. First vice chancellor Yuri Shevtsov expressed strong willingness to launch joint education programs with CULR's School of Culture and Communication and Law School. The head of CULR's Office of International Exchange and Cooperation put forward specific proposals for advancing bilateral cooperation. Following in-depth discussions, the two sides reached preliminary cooperation intentions on student exchanges, winter and summer camps, enhanced faculty exchanges, and joint academic and scientific research projects.


In the student-faculty exchange session, representatives from CULR's Law School and School of Culture and Communication introduced their respective schools and disciplinary characteristics to MITSO students, and extended a warm welcome for them to study at CULR.
During the visit, the delegation visited BelAZ Dump Truck Plant upon invitation and held a discussion with primary-level trade union representatives of the plant on topics including the role of enterprise trade unions and the budgeting and use of trade union funds.


The delegation also paid a visit to the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus (FTUB) and held a meeting and discussion with its leadership. FTUB Vice Chairman Vadim Grachev warmly welcomed the delegation and conveyed greetings and best wishes from Chairman Yuri Senko. He expressed hope for further deepening communication and cooperation between trade union universities of the two countries. Wen Xiaoyi voiced his hope for more frequent exchanges and interactions between CULR and MITSO, so as to promote deeper and more sustainable cooperation between the trade unions of the two countries.


The delegation also conducted an in-depth study tour of the China-Belarus Industrial Park and the National Library of Belarus.
This visit has deepened collaborative innovation between CULR and Belarusian higher education institutions in talent cultivation, scientific research cooperation and discipline development. The two sides reached multiple consensuses on refining exchange programs and expanding cooperation areas, laying a solid foundation for CULR to further enhance its internationalization and global influence.

The International University "MITSO" is among the first batch of trade union universities to establish friendly cooperative relations with CULR. Originally founded as the Higher Trade Union School, it was accredited by the Ministry of Education in 1993, began providing training for executives and professionals in the economic sector in 2002, and started offering higher education programs in 2008. Its major disciplines include international law, labor law, social security law, economics and management, logistics and marketing, and personnel management. It shares similarities with CULR in terms of trade union background, academic program offerings and trade union cadre training. In 2025, CULR officially admitted its first batch of international students from the International University "MITSO".
